We've got Milwaukee Brewers baseball this afternoon as they look for the sweep over the Washington Nationals following their exciting, 13-inning win yesterday. Our pre-game coverage begins at 12:30pm this afternoon on KFIZ. Immediately following Brewers coverage, we will then begin pre-game coverage of the Green Bay Packers pre-season opener tonight against the Cincinnati Bengals. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm. Jim Ancil correctly knew that the pesky green beetle that has caused various quarantines is known as the Emerald Ash Borer. Jim won a great laundry prize pack as well as a family four pack of tickets to check out the Bristol Renaissance Fair.

Jim Sabel gave us all the information on the final night of Music Under the Stars at Buttermilk Creek Park. Tonight's show features The Real Deal Blues Band. Festivities go from 7pm to 8:30pm tonight and of course, admission is FREE!

7:50 - Batman Tops Box Office Again:

The Dark Knight resumed its reign over the box office for the fourth weekend in a row coming in at a cool $26 million. That puts its nationwide sales since release at over $441 million. It trails only Star Wars and Titanic for the overall sales record. Comedy Pineapple Express opened up in the second spot at $22.4 million and Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor rounds out the top three at $16.1 million.

8:20 - Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County:

Kay Vandervort gave us all of the information on the Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County. You can always give them a call at 926-1414. If you need more help with flood relief, you can call the new flood relief center at 322-0422. Kay also reminded us that the deadline for FEMA applications is September 15th, but she suggests that you get those in as soon as possible.
